I hived my first package on April 6 and the girls have absolutely filled two deeps to the top. I had previously shuffled frames in the lower deep to ensure it was near full then added the second deep about three weeks ago. My inspection yesterday led me to the conclusion that it was time to add a honey super.

Their feeder was empty yesterday and was not refilled. Question is, am I moving too fast? Don't want to harm the hive but they look strong and ready.

PS. Second package installed in hive number two last Thursday. The queen is already laying in the partially drawn comb. Who hooo!
