Have heard that bees will work Buckwheat only at certain times of the day.
Any information?

I just drove to a field of blooming Buckwheat and did not see one bee!! It was 3:30 pm and HOT!

It depends on the temperature, but they normally work buckwheat in the mornings. On cool days it seems they stay longer.

It's at 10:24am that they visit buckwheat flowers:rolleyes:

I've read mornings but never witnessed them on buckwheat myself.

I plant buckwheat in part of my garden area and till it under. They work it from early morning until late morning or, when it is cool, later in the day. They love it for that part of the day.
