Last summer my wife purchased about 5 lbs of freeze-dried pollen from Glory Bee Foods for our personal consumptions. However, we found out that it isn't the heavenly ambrosia we were hoping for, and now it is sitting in the basement.

I know it isn't as good as fresh pollen for feeding, but I'd imagine better than pollen sub.

Would this be safe to fashion into patties and feed to my bees or would I be risking diseases in my bees?

Thanks, Rick

Contact Glory Bee and see if they irradiated the pollen before packing.
If they did, then your in the clear
If not, you do run a higher risk of disease transfer. How much of a risk, I cant tell you.

What did the pollen lack that you were hoping for?
