at the grocery store. we get italian sauce in mason jars, eat it for super. then we punch holes in the cover and use the jars for feeders. this is an excuse to get the more expensive sauce instead of the caned stuff.:shhhh:

If you're referring to the glass mason jars regularly used for feeding, you can get them by the case at your grocery store. Walmart has them too. they are just normal canning jars with small holes poked in the lids. when used for canning, the lids are non-reusable so replacements are cheap. you can get a dozen lids for a couple of bucks.

Definately not the economical way to go but mathesonequip approach has a certain appeal.

Hey Astro,
Are the lids "loosely" fit into the lids/tops so as to easily remove the jar when empty, the place another jar in the same opening? What size lid hole?
