Who do you watch on YouTube for bee information.

So far I have watched

FatBeeMan
LDS Prepper
(various users have Micheal Palmer) videos
I watch others but keep forgetting their names.

I've watched and like Don the Fat Bee Man, Michael Palmer, Michael Bush, Kirk Webster, and a couple from Dee Lusby. Several others but the ones I mentioned I tend to watch more then others.

I watch so many, good and bad, that I forget! But I have enjoyed FatBeeMan, of course, LDS Prepper, JP the Beeman, Michael Bush and Michael Palmer. Those are the main names I remember. I'll check out the other ones you all have listed. Sometimes I wish I was on Facebook cause I know I would get to see a lot more that way. But oh well.

One of my favorite Youtube beekeeping videos is this one -- a newb doing an installation in a top bar hive. Learned a lot about how 'not' to do it, and had a good chuckle at this guy's misfortune. The fun starts at 4:00 minutes until about 7:30 minutes. The cameraman is great, too. My favorite quote during the install, "They're a little pi$$ed...!"
I think despite his misfortune of many stings which was entirely his own fault, he appears to have the makings of a pretty good beekeeper someday, that is if he doesn't have a serious bee sting allergy.

I have enjoyed watching most of the youtube video stars mentioned so far, and have learned a good deal watching them. One that I would like to add to the list is David Burns at Long Lane Honey Farm. His videos are very educational. David

I have dialup internet, so the only time I can watch videos is when I'm at my mom's in town. Is there any way to record or copy these videos to watch later? I don't think you can save them like a file.

When I have access to Youtube, I did get to see some of the videos with Michael Palmer and Michael Bush. Oh, search for "how NOT to catch a swarm," you will get a chuckle.

Homesteader -

There are several sites that allow you to save youtube videos to your PC.

One of the simple methods is ...

If you wanted to save off "Meat the Cow" ... Pause the video and change the URL to:

www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=9juO6Ya8_0E

(Place and ss before youtube in the URL)

Hit enter and your will go to the SaveFromNet site and have options to download in different qualities - the options will vary based on the quality of the original upload.

Hope this helps.
