I pulled some honey here in fayetteville this past weekend and caused quite a stir. Based on the ravenous swarms that emerged after drippings I would guess that we are still in a dearth here. Looking forward to the same info or a sign of a fall flow over the next few weeks. Not seeing any goldenrod yet...

Going to be sometime around mid Sept. into Oct. Goldenrod mostly. The hives will have a distinct moldy smell when they start drying it down.

I'm two hours SE of Charlotte, dearth last Friday, but since then there's already a half super of new honey. Every field and ditch is full of blooming weeds and golden rod is evey where and about to open. If we keep getting these thunder showers it'll keep going until our frost, which is normally mid November. If we can keep the hive beetles out of it well be good to go.
