Someone is looking to sell an extractor they have (husband passed away) but haven't a clue what its value is. Only markings on it are:

Dayton .25 HP, 1725 RPM
Model #4K731
Serial # (not necessary to give)
Manufacturer #317P087

Anyone recognize the Manufacturer number?

Barry,

Can't find anything on it. The model number if for the motor and not the extractor and the manufactures number turns up nothing. Perhaps a listing of how many frames it will hold, stainless or galvanized and condition. Then you can compare "like" extractors for pricing.

I asked her in an email for dimensions as well. I'll see what I can find out.

All of those numbers are off the Dayton motor which is the same motor we use on the 1400's .
Can you get a pic so we can investigate further?

I'm trying to get a photo.

Its 26" high x 18" wide, two piece lid, stainless steel on a home made stand. Drum has no manufacturer identification.
I've got two 18 X 24 extractors, Maxant and Dadant, so I assume it's not either of those.

They probably added power to the extractor at a later date and used a Dayton motor. I thought Maxant used Parvalux, not Dayton?
