I have several boxes and frames, covers etc that I would like to clean up.
They have wax, wax moths, spiders, comb with all sorts of damage and discoloration. The comb is on a plastic 'starter'.
I would like to know how to clean it, make it presentable for sale or use, what not to do (any chemicals, no doubt).
Thanks.

Scrape off the wax moth cocoons. Just scrape things down. Some people boil it in lye and that's not a bad idea but takes a lot of equipment and is dangerous. You have to be very careful. You could also cook it in beeswax and rosin or paraffin and rosin.
