I ended up with two extra queens a week ago, so I started two new nuc's in the back yard by pulling a few frames from other hives.
Although there is a ton of capped brood and the queen looks healthy, I think a lot of the bees have drifted back to the original hive.
As an emergency measure, can I put another frame of brood and nurse bees into the hive to make sure there are enough bees to do the job? I'm wondering if there will be trouble in the hive with the bees meeting a new queen.

from what i've read, as long as they are nurse bees they should be ok. Shake the frame to knock off foragers before putting it in the nuc.
