put on my first honey super today. Had added my 2nd brood box, (deeps) 3 wks ago and haven't inspected since, (I know I know) So after I realized how HEAVY the deeps are, ( I'll be beefing up now that I know.), I look down into brood box #1 and see a big space where an outer frame should be. Either the frame fell off on one end, or I forgot to put an empty from 2nd brood box back in bottom box when I moved a frame up, etc. I think you know where I'm going. should I just pull out 1. the dropped frame and reset it (this is easy) or 2. if frame is missing, can I just pull out the drawn pieces of comb/bees and set them near the hive, replace with a clean frame. I hoping the bees will just go back and in draw out that frame and carry on.

The sooner you clean it up the better. Pull it out and drop in a frame or rubberband the unruly comb into a frame and give it back to them if it full of brood.
