Last Tuesday when we checked an uncrowded hive (they have plenty of space if they want to expand) we found 6-8 capped supercedure cells. We don't have the extra boxes right now, so we decided to just leave them and let them figure out what they want to do.

I just visited the hive today to observe what's going on from the outside. It's sunny, about 80 degrees, nice day. Lots of bees coming & going, so I looked to see they were bring in pollen.....didn't see any. But I did notice that a lot of the bees coming & going were drones. Do you suppose there's a virgin queen out flying and the drones are out looking to die for her?

Yep, drones do come a go to any hive they want that will accept them.
Like young men they like to hang out where there might be some action.
