I just did a full inspection of my 3 hives. I remember seeing one of frames had some really ugly patches of drone cells in the middle that looked like the queen dropped acid laying that frame. It was very hap hazzard in the middle of the frame, with the rest seeming fine. I was a little concerned about it, but it was late fall, and I figured I may have to deal with it next spring if she went wonky on me.

After my inspection, I realized I didn't see that frame. Do the bees re-purpose or rebuild areas of their frames as they go along their busy little lives? She is laying really good now, so I'm just a little curious.
