forgot to zip up the veil. i was thinking, wow they're really buzzing me a lot today. she must have been in there with me for 15 minutes before i realized what was happening. i flipped that veil off pretty quick. i think she really just wanted to get out.
doh. how did i not get stung!

I worked the bees all day a couple of days ago and forgot to zip the veil... I did finally notice when they got really worked up and a couple of bees were trying to get in there... but none of them did.

The first time I put on 'suit' and was setting my first hive I forgot to zip the netting. It didn't take long and I noticed about 6-8 bees on the inside with me. They were more interested on getting out than stinging, but three managed to tag me before I got the suit off.
