You know how we have a recycling and re-purpose craze going on now?

I would love to round up some of these and re-purpose them into top bar hives.

Look, they already have viewing windows and ports to get debris out of the bottom.

And WHO WOULDN'T want a top bar hive with wheels?

Iron lungs...
A good reason for vaccination. Most adults today never had to live through a time when their childhood friends would not come back to school in the fall from polio outbreaks in the summer, so some say we don't need to vaccinate.

Hey, but this is about making a negative into a positive.

Surely there must be millions and millions of those things laying around as bad as the polio epidemic was - right?

What's the big deal?

We have what's known as a 'coffin hive'.

A coffin is about deathly as one can get, so I'm not sure why an iron lung would be such a big deal.

Even at Halloween, we have coffins everywhere and no one seems to mind.

How could an iron lung be worse than a coffin?

Even THIS was funny to most people back in the 60s:

There was an iron lung on one of the reality tv shows in the last few months that sold for over a thousand dollars. Evidently there aren't as many as you think and they aren't junk.

Why would you want bees in a metal and glass hive?

Wayne

The glass can have covers made so it would be just like any other top bar hive with viewing windows.

As far as a metal hive working, haven't you ever seen the part of "The Wizard of Oz" where the Wicked Witch
threatens to turn the Tin Man into a bee hive?

:)
