I also snap the corners off, unless I’m swamped with work.
That’s wear planning comes in, if I’m thinking ahead.
Yes, I have some that aren’t removed.

Thank you guys so much for the info. I will start doing it. I am guessing both are done and the holes sit at the bottom. I have 400 to do out of the 1000 I have. I bought an extra 600 so I could save 3 cents each on the first 400 hundred. :scratch:

Same question: but were does one place the snaped off cormer (s)? Top, bottom or a combination? I have some wax fondation deeps and the bees seem to put holes in all over the place or none at all. :scratch::scratch: I am now going to try foundationless frames and just let the bees do there thing, it will be interesting to see were the holes are and the relationship from frame to frame. :scratch:

So on 1-piece plastic would it make sense to drill the communication holes, or not worth the trouble?

IMO, not worth the trouble.
