Do red maple flowers produce nectar once they're drooping out of the bud?

Trying to figure out when the female red maple actually produces the nectar.

Here's the options:

Female flower #1: http://lansingwbu.blogspot.com/2013/03/red-maple-flower-make-tasty-treat-for.html

Female Flower #2: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe...rs_on_Madison_Avenue_in_Ewing,_New_Jersey.jpg

Also - how long does a single tree stay in bloom?

We're about to get 2 weeks of cold weather, will they still be producing nectar after that?
