I did a cut out 2 1/2 weeks ago
Just got around to checking the hive today
I vaccumed every last bee I'm certain I got her. The bees have been coming and going and working pretty good even made a little honey. Well today I opened em and didn't see a single egg or capped brood.
Should I Assume it's queen less ?
They seem to be working
Are the bees too old for a frAme of brood from other hive or should I mail order a queen right away

Nurse bees and brood seem to be accepted every where. We frequently move frames around to equalize populations Make sure you have eggs or very young brood on the frame so they can make a queen. It is going to take around 40 days so you might add a frame of brood a week until the new queen is up and running.
When we do cut outs we check the hive in about a week if there is no egg laying going on we either combine the cut out with an established hive or it is big we add young brood from another hive so they can build a queen.
