I'm 30 miles east. We're good in the spring until mid may. After that, it depends on where you are. Some areas have blanket flower and horse mint, others have mesquite or cotton. After mid July, it's pretty much over. The heat hits and most everything dries up. Fall flows can be good if we get late spring and fall rains. I get a couple to 3 supers per hive in decent years. More if my farmer is planting vetch and soybeans. Less if the weather doesn't cooperate.
