So you're up on an extension ladder or an A-frame ladder cutting out a colony of honeybees and you don't want to climb up and down for each little comb section you cut out. And... you don't have a wife/buddy/employee to hand comb down to so it can be rubber banded into frames. Who has invented something to set a super full of empty frames on so you've got a box of frames handy while you're up on a ladder?

the last one I did, the house had wood siding so I simply screwed some shelf brackets to the side of the house and set a box on them. If you can't screw brackets into the side of what you are working on, get you one of these

ideally though if you are working by yourself, you would be better off with 2 ladders and a set up like this using ladder jacks

I like those ideas. Thanks, Harley Craig! Those ladder jacks look like simpler than setting up scaffolding. Very cool.
As convenient as a platform would seem, I would never use one unless it was on a ladder that I was not also standing on. Although I would love to have on of those things for what they are made for (standing on). Being up on an extension ladder for several hours is rough on the arches and ladder work is no place for fatigue.
Are those Little Giant platforms meant for standing on? I have that set up and thought it was for putting paint cans on.
