Got the first call for a cut out already.
If this is how 2021 is going to start out should be lots of swarms. We sure didn't have much of a cold winter and stuff is blooming like crazy here.
Went and looked at the job and it was yellow jackets from last year.
They had called another beekeep that I am friends with and he had told them last year to wait until spring this year. He passed the job off to me since it was just a few minutes from me and about an hour from him.
Been there too. As a beekeeper, I find it hard to believe anyone could mistake a wasp for a bee, but I have to remember that most people think anything with black and yellow stripes is a bee.
