I rubber baned brood, and honey foundation, and put them in a deep brood box. How do you start adding starter strip fondation, to replace the rubber baned foudation. I have shallow supers in place to try to get some honey this year.
Just keep the brood together until they get established and fill the outsides with frames with starter strips. If they have that box mostl full, add another one and move a frame of drawn comb or a rubber banded one up to keep them straight in the next box.
