Converting from langs
Hi I was looking for bees before the season starts here, yes we are something like 2 weeks early but still behind our southern neighbors 
. So I found a guy who wants to sell a few hives. I was wondering how best to convert them to my tbh, last time I tried cutting the frames to fit and wiring the top bars together (the frames tb and mine). I have one problem with this though, when I space them for the bees to build comb there isn't enough room for the new comb. 1-1/4" tb's, stnd frame is what 1-3/8? Another option is just to shake them into the hive this would help with regression but set them back for loss of brood. Any thoughts?
