I am making about six swarm traps. Is there any certain color you paint them that tends to attract them more??

I don't think color matters. Personally I try to make them neutral enough to not be highly visible to humans, not dark enough to overheat in the sun.

I have caught a lot in boxes painted green, aluminum or grey. Also just clear stained wood.

I picked up a ton of used wood, painted a beige/tan. I made my traps out of this wood and they were fairly neutral with the environment. After two years the paint peeled and they are that grey, natural wood color. They seem to work fine.

I've thought to paint mine camo colors to really blend in, but then wondered if I'd still be able to find them!
