It is going to be in the twenties today and since I live in south central Texas the bees have been active. I was wondering if I need to worry about the cold getting to the brood. Every one of the hives has brood and I was a little afraid it may die with the cold snap. Do I need to take precaution and wrap them or will they be just fine. It's only gonna get that cold tonight.

should be alright if there are enough bees to cover the brood. usually they won't rear any more brood than they can cover.

Something to cut the wind thru the cracks and crevasses is always good in the cold. My bees stay wrapped until well into June up here in cold country.
