Cluster at the entrance

Was in my backyard today and noticed that one of my hives had a large cluster on the front entrance. Looked like a pile on. Was thinking that maybe the queen came out the front door. It's not uncommon to see a lot of bees hanging out on the front entrance, but just thought this was a little odd.

That is just a few bees on the landing board. It's not even a beard... wait until the weather is hot...

I am familiar with bearding. This actually reminded me of more like the package did when I installed the queen cage. More of a pile on. I watched it for a while and the pile moved around until it finally pushed back into the hive.
