I don’t have a lot of experience extracting honey but I extracted a medium honey super today. Before bottling it I strained it like three times. But as I got towards the bottom of the bucket that I was using to fill bottles with the honey seem to get cloudier. You can see we’re some of the ones are cloudier on the top. Fine wax particles and trapped air. You need to let your honey set in bucket for a few days. Then skim the particles off.

Thanks. Anything you use in particular to skim it off top?
I take a piece of plastic cling wrap, carefully lay it onto the surface of the honey wrinkle free, and then carefully lift it off from one side. All the floaties and foam come off on the plastic.
Then, sometimes I lick the plastic.
