Over the years, after final extraction, I've attempted putting a wet framed super on for the bees to clean out. However, every time, they just store more honey in them. Any ideas on how to get them to not do that and do what they're told!? Instead I just put the frames in a separate nuc box and let them rob it out but the wasps get in on the action too.

How are you adding them to the hive? Many here suggest putting an empty super above the inner cover and the super of wet frames above that in order to get them to clean them out and not refill. I can't speak from experience, but am trying it this year. J

I save a number of ‘stickys’, one for each production hive, to encourage movement thru the QE next season. Wrap in HD plastic bags and store.
All the rest get put out in the yard to get robbed clean. Works for me.

Peter are you putting the wet super over your inner cover? If so and they still fill, try a empty box over the inner cover then the wet super on top of that.

Leave them out in the open about 50 yards from your hives. They’ll clean them out.

The empty box above the inner cover works for me. i freeze them and give them back as winter feed. You can sprinkle sugar on the frames if you need additional feed.
