Only partially kidding. I caught a swarm in an old nuc that I had on the deck this morning. I'd like to move it off the deck and next to the other hives about 40 yards away.
The nuc had a frame of comb (for sure) and I think a frame of foundation in it.
They're already settled in, coming and going like a normal hive. Thinking I should move it sooner than later as it's on our deck. Don't want them getting too oriented to where they are.
Here's my plan. Move it tonight/tomorrow morning to where I want it. Then tomorrow afternoon or the next day move them into a full sized deep with foundation and a frame of open brood to hold them.
What do you think?
Couple of vids, btw.
P.S. I know I need to square up the hive on the left.
