Great story out of Toronto the other day.... Laureen Harper, wife of Canuck Prime Minister Stephen Harper was in town, and visited bee hives on the roof of the Royal York Hotel. The chef was showing her the hives and some roof gardens, supplying fresh ingredients for their kitchen. They both got stung, but it appears that in spite of her stings, Mrs Harper put the cover back on the hive with no suit, veil or gloves. She sure outclassed the chef, who's doing the swatting dance in the background. Her dad was a bee keeper...
