We have a plant invading my area, I don't know what it is.

the bloom looks a little like a clover. the leaves are long stems with opposing rounded leaflets. they are white to mid tone purple blooms. I can't get good pic's, cause I am camera challenged (can't get a pic of the inside of a barn). I have a few, but can't get them to post right now.

Is it something to help move in, or to fight to keep out??

definitely crown vetch.

fyi, West Virginia DOT is known for using this as ground cover to stabilize hillsides along the highway. Good news is that if you plow it in, it is excellent green manure for your garden.
