Can a queen be too big?

I marked a queen today. She is the biggest queen i have ever seen. When i first saw her i thought it was not a bee. She is about 1 and 1/4 inches long and very big around. Her abdomen is as long as a worker bee. She has only been laying for 3 or 4 days so i have no idea how she will do.

She is so fat she rubs the sides of the comb!
I'd like to see a picture; it does sound a bit on the large side. What kind of bee is she supposed to be (Italian, Russian, etc.)?
I got a few of them like that. One of them is my best hive.
I wonder how she gets to be so big. Is it genetic or a mutated specie? Just curious!
I am having trouble with my cell phone texting pictures. I will get the phone fixed and post some here. I showed the pictures to some friends and everyone said the same thing "she"s huge" the one thing different about her is she is very blond. She is the daughter of my first swarm capture this year. A few asked "is that a killer bee?"
I got one of those big mammas this year. I had the same question "can she be too big to fit my natural cell size foundationless TBH?" But she has been a fantastic layer for me. Hope you get a few years out of her.
All about the drones i tell ya
