If you are interested in narrow medium frames please call W T Kelley and ask to speak with Jennifer. Narrow deeps are available now, and they are waiting to know if there is enough demand for mediums.
bt, it is "normal" it just allows you to put 11 frames in 10 frame equipment or 9 in 8. Some people have been planing off a little from each frame to accomplish this. Read Michael Bush's site or book for an explanation.
I'm in my first year of keeping my own bees and running Kelley foundationless in mediums treatment free... AND I've got a major yellow jacket issue... I've got enough to figure out I think without adding another "experimental" factor.
I finally ordered some "thin" endbars as Kelley refers to them. It will still take a while to cycle out my remaining 1 3/8" frames but this will give a boost to that project...
