The piece that sucks up the liquid disintegrated. Is there a way to repair it?

Google Burgess fogger pump repair kit. Saw a few lawn and garden store websites that list it. Also Sears Parts Direct.

Where ya been?

Has the fogger been charged with a corrosive liquid? The pickup appears to be brass and the container aluminum. I have seen alcohol and oxalic acid promoted for spraying. Bad combination with dissimilar metals.

JW, unbelievably busy. Missed talking with you guys. The repair kits I'm seeing don't have the plastic part.

crofter, it was oa two years ago. I must have forgotten to clean it out. Looks like the plastic turned to powder.

I found the part number on sears, but it isn't in stock. Any way to rig it? I have the ball and spring. The plastic is what is missing.

Maybe some Canadian here can buy it for you and mail it down to you.

Or use an international buying service like this https://www.reship.com/pricing.html

p.s. I have never used this particular company, nor am I affiliated with them. I have used other buying services for other countries in the past.

edit: Is it this kit? https://www.thefountainheadgroup.co...ofessional-thermal-fogger-pump-repair-kit-218

sometimes you can call up customer service and they can sell you a part that isn’t on their website.

zabadoh, that is the electric and doesn't have the plastic cover. thanks for looking though.

Contacting Fountinhead directly will probably be what I have to do. I just need to wait for open hours. In the meantime, I think I'll give OA dribble a try.
