What size holes, for inverted 1 gallon bucket feeder? On top of the hive for syrup.
Yes, 190 proof grain alcohol. Dip an old toothbrush in the bottle, brush it on both sides of the screen for a few seconds and rinse with water...works great. That's what I have observed too. Anyone have an easy solution to this problem? I've tried a heat gun, which works, but its a fine line between too hot and not.
Could you show a pic of this?I use a one gallon zip lock bag with 3 qt. of syrup. Lay it on the inner cover. Place an empty super around it, and the top on that super. Costs $.10 and never gets propolised. Oh, VERY important, just a 1" slit in the air bubble. Any larger hole and you will come back to a bag full of bees! My bees usually empty the bag in 48 hours. Every other method I have tried was slower. Did I mention, nothing to clean up? Just throw the empty in the trash.
