bringing in a new hive to yard

Hello all, I have two hives in yard that I started 3-4 weeks ago from two 5 frame nucs. Since its late and I was trying to get them built up, I have been feeding 1/1 . The new hive I am bringing in (KTBH) is loaded with bees, have not been feed. Am I going to create a robbing frenzy on my other two hives if I continue to feed them? Would it be better to open feed? I would hate to bring in even more outside robbers.

Thanks, Scott

Personally I would resist open feeding this time of year...it will sure get them worked up.
As long as your feeding method restricts feeding only to the hives you intend to feed this will not be a problem.
Open feeding will whip up a robbing frenzy in short order. If you decide on this method keep the open feed at least 100 yards away from the hive. Any other hive within a couple of miles will also love you for it, along with any hornet or wasps in the area. But they got to eat too! :)
Thanks for your input, I have top feeders on hives now, so it looks like I can just continue.
