I started to assemble some homemade frames for foundationless long langs.: rather a TBH, were I plan to use the first 20 bars foundationless or with no frames and the balance with wired or monofilimate frames (14) for extracting.
Barrowed my neibors air brad gun, faster than nailing easer on the fingers also!, I just question those little 18ga. wires. would staples be better:scratch:

Some waterpproof carpenters glue and 1 1/4 or longer 18 g brads is tuff enough to keep them together.

As a (vey) long-time worker of wood, nails/brads are used to hold things in place while glue dries. Staples (or the slow process of using screws) because of their design, are used as the primary holder (check out a split-jamb door & frame next time you're in a box store
