I used this method this past season. this is very versatile.
I can put it on top of a strong Mini Nuc to get queen cells built, 5 Frame Nuc or a full size colony to get queen cells built all i need is a extra supper shell to place it in on top of my cell builder.

The Excluder and screen prevents a rouge Queen from getting at Queen cells, Good Insurance.

Quit teasing!
How about an explanation.
What are those yellow things?
look like the yellow things from the Jenter system, only place I know you can get them is Blue sky, my question would be how do you get them out when they are attached to the plywood, like the concept though

You put the yellow holder in the hole in the wood ,then you put the jenter brown plug into the brown cell cup then on the bottom side you put the cell with plug into the yellow holder and there is about a 2 inch clearance for them to build the queen cells

I would add it also means you could toss it on top of a full sized hive to finish 24 hours later and start another round of cells

Here is a frame cell bar give you an idea of how the yellow cup holders work.

So are you using the jenter system but instead of having to squeeze the queen unto this tiny hole on their plastic box, you're using your own ply box, is this correct?
If so I like that system much better, I was always a bit concerned of hurting the queen when trying to push her into that little plastic box.
Nice setup!

my My breeder Queen is in a 1/2 length Mini Nuc 4 Frame she is free range to lay where she wants, I place queen excluder on top so she has only access to the bottom 4 frames I pull 1 frame out when I want to graft, the other 3 frames are fully packed with brood, I put frame I pulled from bottom above excluder and insert the jenter in its pace below the Q Excluder. if I do it in late evening 6 pm or so she will have it all laid by next morning by about 10 am I place it above excluder next to frame I pulled up from bottom and insert another jenter below and let her lay it, this gives a second chance if I can't transfer from first jenter.

Then I transfer jenter cell plugs in to cell cups then put into the yellow holder and place on board I place about 30 to 36 cell cups with larva about 12 to 18 Hours old, into box to get fed and drawn out.

Then I can Place these ripe Queen cells into the cages just a 1 day before hatching let them hatch out Into a queens nuc for taking care of, if I need to hold them for awhile or place 1 ripe cells in to Mating Nuc awaiting a queen.
