I check mine every two weeks just to make sure everything is ok. A booming hive can swarm pretty quick.

How frequently should I check my boomer hives this spring? Trying to toe the line between staying on top of swarms and too many inspections.

It really depends on the swarm prevention strategy, your goals and time available. Weekly is about right during prime swarm issue time, every 2 weeks or so outside that.
Been checking in on them about once a week. They've been growing by leaps and bounds. Going to continue that program since you said it was OK!
