Blood pressure is UP!!!!!

Ok so my bosses and co workers think I'm STUPID. I work for the local school district, and the last month they have killed one hive in building and attempting to kill another in a tree(spray foam insulation in the entrance holes, but as of today 5/24 the bees are winning). They call me when there MIGHT be a bee problem/situation for me to see if I can do anything about them, even after I tell them how we can try save them with minimal damage to buildings or cutting the tree down(trap outs). The bad part is, the tree is 200 feet from the school and the bees are going away from the school when leaving the hive. The only way they know they are there is a teacher was eating lunch in the shade of the other trees on the tree line and noticed them.

I always get the same answer: We can't tear the walls out or we can't cut the tree down

There has to be something/someway or law to prevent this from happening. I am tierd of standing by while they are killing bees. Someone has to have an answer.

Thanks
Bruce

Do a trap out on the tree while school is OUT. Easy fix, easy way to get bees. Just drill a hole beneath the hive at the botom after you have your cone in place and squirt honey-bee-gone heavily into it. Queen and all comes out into your waiting nuc with a frame of brood and they are happy again. You move the nuc, and spray foam the holes shut.. WIN WIN
Was wanting/going to do a trap out but they wanted them gone as soon as they see them

Kids are more important then honeybees I don't blame them for wanting them gone.
If you are responsible for other peoples kids you may see things different but maybe not. Just saying.

I understand that.... and a kid getting hurt/injured is the LAST thing I want to see

Im just saying the ones in the building had been there for 2 months and they wouldnt let me do anything......the school was having some kind of festival and was setting up the concession trailer when the principlal noticed them and decided they need to be gone.....then moved the trailer to the other side of the school.
Offer to help remove the bees when school is out everyday, including weekends.
Once you have enough bees saved then they will make more bees. Eventually the hive
will die when no more resources are coming in. When all the foragers are removed then seal the holes.
Tell them that honey will drip all over inside the building if they do not take them out even when they
had killed all the bees inside. The only way is to do a trap out to remove as many bees as you can.
Bees cannot sting the children when nothing is flying. It will require an extended time for the trap
out but better than they killing the entire hives.
If they don't want your help then there is nothing you can do to prevent them from killing those bees.
They have a valid excuse to keep the children safe for fear of liability issues. Even they don't want to
get fired over some honey bee issues.
First of all RELAX... take a chill pill. Cool heads prevail most often.
Explain to them that you are knowledgable in trap out methods that will not damage the trees or buildings and will save the bees with minimal disruption to all involved.
Trap out boxes can be strapped to trees with ratchet straps and trap out cones can be attached to buildings with minimal damage and can be repaired.
You have to remember, most individuals are not as passionate (or knowledgable) about bees as we are. To them... they are pests and look for ways to alleviate the problem quickly.
Find the best trap out vids on you tube and let them watch it. Email the link to them if you
have to.
There are some good ones there that I like.
