Is your honey really honey? FDA announces new labeling guidelines for 'blends'
Honey mixed with added sweeteners such as sugar and corn syrup should be labeled a 'blend,' the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said. Americans consume more than 400 million pounds of honey each year, most of which is imported. "
Blends to some are adulterated honey to others. The FDA can't say what honey is, but they can define blends? Interesting.
