I have a few supers with drawn comb I would like to use for consumable honey however I am wondering if the bees will clean off some black mold that it on the comb. Any advice is appreciated.
I have dipped frames and plastic foundation in bleach to kill the mold. I have been thinking of doing the same with moldly wax if it is not very old. I think if it is allowed to dry in full sun it would be ok since sunlight breaks down the bleach. But, I do not do any chuck honey.
