Is there a best time of day to inspect a hive?

It depends a bit on the conditions where you are, but I like to do inspections when the foragers are out of the hive. For me that is generally between 10 AM and 3 or 4 PM.

I have always been told and try to inspect between 10 am to 2 pm when most of the bees are out looking for food. But sometimes the weather can force you to change your time.
