I took a walloping last year on bees due to inattention from my part. I bred more SHB than bees, and I'm wondering how effective nematodes are for knocking SHB numbers down. I know what I need to do from a management perspective to help the bees out, but I'd like to at least try and undo some of the damage I did last year. Anyone have any experience they'd like to share regarding nematodes?

I used them last year. But I also got hit with pesticides last year and lost half the bees overnight. Then the small hive beetles took over the now weak hives. So I can't say if the nematodes failed or not. This year will probably be the better test of success or failure...

Thanks MB. Sorry to hear about your bees. I may give the nematodes a try and see what happens.
