Today we went for a car ride to boiling springs, pa. Got back at 4:00 pm, but air still warm and girls still flying. Bringing in something, looked like dirty pale white dust. Some of this dust had a little tan in it, so i doubt it was pollen. Have no idea what it was.

We have a cusp of snowdrops, which are in bloom, and I did see a bee working it. The only other stuff close to blooming is pussy willow; the buds are just opening, but probably not enough to draw attention. Maples are close to blooming. Next week weather report is REAL COLD, so maybe something will happen next week.

My bees bring in chicken feed dust that is grey. I watch them in my chicken feeder and my neighbor has them in his duck feeder.
