...'Found this link on bees & earthquakes. If they left a hive in a panic, they didn't feed before leaving, they would normally do if swarming. On going aftershocks & possible damage to hive have them disorientated & without food. I'm guessing though. https://t.co/GAfbg2h3XY
Garbage. Agree someone sprayed the colony and coincidence with the earthquake. If their home was destroyed they would buzz around it till it settled down then get the honey and move on. Only animals en masse that are affected by a quake are humans.

My bees are doing great, although my "bovine nutrient residue" detection meter is max'd out and pegged off the scale. :lpf::banana::popcorn::rolleyes:

I am wondering if there was a natural gas leak or something like that that got into the hive from the earthquake and did the hive in.

Yes, I wondered about a gas or chemical leak, fumes, ....

Or as he gent suggested above, someone sprayed them.

Some insects can sense irregularities in magnetic waves but I doubt that kills them

Manure and flim flam both smell sweet at first, but the manure will make your soil richer.

Just FYI/ or not.

Bees have been reported to swarm and become aggressive before earthquakes. Some researchers believe they are responding to EM waves produced by stressed rock before large earthquakes.
OK JFH00JFh................as you are new i will spell this out more for you. We prefer actual science with repeatable outcomes. A one off person dropping F-bombs and some hack news site are not going to be received well. The above video is more of a joke. They opened a hive lid in winter and then messed with it. That device makes a noise as it works and was right on the hive so of course the bees will go after that. Go kick a beehive in winter and see what you get. Now that will be repeatable science.
Stop watching that junk and learn from the masters as we all did.

There are people that claim that rabbits are affected by stuff similar to this. Like a similar story for France is claiming that these farms are having rabbits and cattle die due to electrmagnetic fields caused by power grid infrastructure being near their farm.

But I don't know how truthful it is.

The truth is that rabbits die ridiculously easy. And cows can die from stuff too. I wondered if people are doing this to get some kind of gofund me pity cards they can put in play also.
