I have a fair amount of the Beemax Polystyrene equipment and while I like the fact that its always easier to open because the bees do not propylize it too badly I have noticed the quality control over the last three years to be slipping badly.

Stuff I purchased 3 years back was solid, almost like the polystyrene was under higher pressure while it was in the mold so that surface was tight and smooth, took paint well and joints were really tight.

Stuff I bought last year was not as nice.

Stuff I purchased this year doesn't fit too snugly and the polystyrene looks more like a walmart poly cooler than good solid equipment.

Anyone else have similar observations?
