Beekeeping Mentor in a Book by Donald Studinski
Details: Paperback 8 1/2 x 11 in. Color 248 pages 222 illustrations.

This is a beautiful book with color pictures throughout and some amazing photography. But more than that it is on the lines of A Year in an Out Apiary by Doolittle or A Year Among the Bees by Miller. It takes a beginner through a year of beekeeping in a cold climate. There is a chapter for each month and another chapter between each month with other important topics. This is by someone who has mentored a lot of beekeepers and knows what their questions and issues are. And it is beautifully illustrated.

I really want people to realize how absolutely beautiful this book is. Not only is the advice from a respected natural beekeeper well written and useful for a Northern beekeeper, but it is full of beautiful and amazing pictures. Also it is printed in color and in 8 /12" x 11" format so you can really enjoy them. Here is an example of the kinds of pictures.
