It is possible to have bees anywhere except the North and South Pole. If you could grow enough flowers at the poles they might survive there too. If you ask about ordinances you will probably meet with man's inherent fear of bees. Several governments in the United States have beekeeping ordinances. A friend of mine visited St John's in the Caribbean, and he brought back a couple bottles of local honey from there. If someone can manage hives there, I'm sure you could manage hives in the Bahamas.
