Has anyone seen a website that shows the equipment used and explains the process to harvest bee venom?

I read somewhere that they get an electrified frame that gives the bees on it shocks, and they try to sting the frame and the venom runs down the sides to a catcher. Don't remember where I read it.

Thanks for adding the comment. Your understanding is very similar to my own. I do not think that the venom runs down the sides to a catcher though, it stays on (what I think is a glass sheet) the side where it dries and then is later scraped off to collect.

Quite a lot of people have read this thread. Like me, not too many people know about it ...... interesting .....
