I bought some of each last fall to make Lauri Miller pollen patties. How long are these products "fresh"? They were stored "in a cool dry place" but will they still have nutrient value for my bees?

I sure hope so. I've been making my own pollen substitute, this same way for almost a decade, now, and I store the ingredients - BeePro and Brewer's Yeast in my laundry room, between uses.

I haven't had them tested to determine their current nutritional value or even their nutritional value when I receive them, and sometimes I have them for six or eight months before I finish using that batch and then purchase more BeePro and Brewer's Yeast. I haven't noticed any that weren't eaten by the bees, or that didn't provide the bees the nutrition they needed.
